Tell us about yourself! How old are you? Where do you live? What do you do (work/school/etc.)?
I’m 38 years old. I own and operate a cannabis dispensary in Wisconsin Rapids with my wife and 3 daughters.
Tell us about the most important people in your life! Who do you live with (family, friends, etc.)?
My wife Kimberly and three daughters Alianna, McKenna, and Kayleigh are my whole world and my biggest motivators. they are also my biggest critics.

28 years
How did you get started with disc golf?
My step father took me discing for the first time on top of a mountain. The views and the ability to launch a disc 100 feet off a cliff took my whole soul! I’ve been addicted ever since.

What do you do when you’re not playing disc golf?
I am the lead singer of the band DahcMijed (damaged).
What is your absolute favorite food (something you couldn’t live without)?
Tacos. 100% Tacos.
What’s your favorite fast-food restaurant?
I don’t eat much fast food, but if I had to select one it would be Arby’s.
What are some of your favorite movies of all time?
Memento, The Revenant, Grind, All Cheech and Chong Movies, Grandmas Boy.
What are some of your favorite TV shows/series?
Breaking Bad, Handmaid’s Tale, Peacemaker.
Do you have any pro or college sports teams you are fanatic about?
I bleed green and gold. Go Pack Go

What is the first disc golf disc that you ever owned?
My first disc was a Walmart special, but my first real disc was a red firebird with blue foil stamp. I used that disc my entire life until recently.
What are some of your favorite discs that are in your bag right now?

What else is always in your bag other than discs?
2 towels, Max Grip Disc Wax, disc caddie towel, reusable scorecard, PDGA rulebook, zippo lighter, water, led light for dark rounds, extra socks.
Disc Golf Courses
Do you have a course that you consider your ‘home course’? Tell us about it.
Willow Run in Wisconsin Rapids is my home course. It’s a 12 hole course with alt pads for each making it 24.
What are a few of your favorite disc golf courses to play?
Near me, Standing Rock and Willow Run are my favorite, but further away, city park in Iron Mountain was cool. My favorite course though, is Blue Mountain in Missoula MT.
What is a dream disc golf course for you that you hope to play someday?
I’d love to play many courses, but I’d really love to get back to Blue Mountain. It’s been 27 years.

Do you have any pre-round or post-round rituals that you do when you play disc golf?

Do you drink, smoke, snack, or partake in anything else while playing disc golf? What’s your go-to?
Not a drinker, but always have a doob and some snacks on me.
Are you just a casual disc golfer? Do you participate in any local leagues? Do you compete in disc golf tournaments?
Mostly casual until recently. I now do 2 separate leagues as well as participate in sanctioned events.
Do you have any tips for aspiring disc golfers?
Have fun. That’s the most important thing in disc golf.
Disc Golf Fun Stuff
Do you have any favorite professional disc golfers that you follow?
Not really. I find myself trying to emulate others when I follow pros. It’ll never happen. You have to be yourself in this sport.
Do you have any disc golf goals that you are trying to achieve?
I’d love to get my first ace lol. 28 years without an ace is tough.
Who do you typically play disc golf with?
My buddies and my wife.
What would a perfect disc golf round look like for you?
Beautiful weather, clean throws, good smoke.
